Birthday cards - do not be boring
We have all received birthday cards from old friends or loved ones and was disappointed that simply have been signed. It is good that it observes his birthday at all, but would have been much better if they had written something on the inside - something funny, sweet, or even a bit cheeky. Do not make the same mistake I did.
I read somewhere once that "a birthday is an excellent opportunity to recognize and celebrate the life of a friend or family member. "And" birthday card messages that give the opportunity to connect to a loved one or reconnect with someone who has lost touch with. "While this is undoubtedly true, I also feel that an opportunity would be lost if not tease them a little about your age! Come on, older people are love to be teased about his age. When they were young they made fun of the elderly, so it only seems fair. Note that this only works, however, if they are older than you, or if they think they are older than you, or can be persuaded to think they are older than you! If you can pull this off, make fun of them something else: something embarrassing, or not I have a gift, that neither they (perhaps) are cheap, or really dislike.
Note that this method only really works if you really like. Teasing is usually seen as a sign of affection - would not send a message a bit rude to someone who barely knows, or someone who has a formal relationship with - thus sending a message actually slightly insulting to the receiver says "I like you, and I feel comfortable in our relationship. "Generally, the recipient must be interpreted in that way, but do not go too far. Avoid topics too personal.
Perhaps you might consider writing a birthday poem for them? It's easier than you think. Just think of a joke or a feeling and turn it in a verse of four lines. Keeping these two simple rules: one rule is that it should rhyme - usually this means that the last syllable of the second and fourth lines must rhyme. It would be even better if the first and third rhyme too, but this is not mandatory. Rule number two is to be analyzed - this means that the rhythm should sound natural. Proper poets insist on following certain rules, but as you just write a birthday card, just check the rate sounds good when you read aloud. If so, fine.
